The days surrounding the 49th Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, also known as Beijing plus 10, February 26-March 11, 2005, were particularly busy at IWTC, with IWTC packed with women representing media networks and activists groups from every world region.

Media Women: Are We Really Invisible? A discussion on the reasons why women and media issues are not considered a priority in the Beijing+ 10 processes; an examination of the different factors why there seems to be a diminishing interest in media, information and communication work in the donor community; discussion on the womenıs media pool & women's media initiatives.
