During the CSW 2007, Women, Ink. will be organizing several events and giving away a free CD that is a compilation of several resources and training materials for people who are working with girls


Join us for in-depth small group discussions with authors and editors about the themes and issues raised in their new women and development-related books.

* Free CD on training materials for girls*
This free CD contains a resource collection of free games, training manuals, workshop guides etc. for teachers, trainers and development workers who are working for and with girls. It includes interactive and participatory training games, guides and other resources on empowerment, human rights, violence against women and girls, HIV/AIDS, sexuality and reproductive health and leadership development etc.

The training materials and resources on this CD are from various groups and organizations, including AIDS Society of the Phillippines, Asia Pacific Forum on Women Law and Development (APWLD), Association for Women’s Rights in Development (AWID), Breakthrough, BRIDGE, EngenderHealth, Health & Development Networks, Hunt Alternative Fund, International Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS, International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), Ipas, League of Women Voters of the US, Save the Children, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Women Waging Peace, Young Women’s Christians Association (YWCA) and many others.
